The Auspicious Dates for Travel in May 2027 are thirteen Yi Chuxing days: 1, 3, 6, 10, 11, 12, 15, 17, 18, 19, 21, 24 and 25 May. 27 May is not a travel day. Copy those thirteen dates first, then lay them on the fare you can actually hold. Pay for a seat and read the forecast; the almanac only screens those mornings.
What does Yi Chuxing mark on a May trip?
Yi Chuxing is the Huangli column for leaving town, starting a journey, or sending someone on the road. It does not grade a hotel, stamp a visa, or clear a runway. Read it after a cabin exists. A cheap fare on a blank day can still be kept. A Yi Chuxing day with no seat cannot move anyone.
May 2027 also carries Lixia on the 6th and Xiaoman on the 21st. Both solar terms sit inside the thirteen-day list. 27 May does not. Holiday crowding around 1 May can fill the same trains the almanac already marked as going-out.
Which thirteen days carry the travel mark?
The rows copy lunar day, stem-branch, clash animal and the first listed jishi from the 26 August 2026 scrape of the 2027 May day pages. Do not add a fourteenth date. Open the English day page before you print an itinerary.

Nine of the thirteen first hours fall in Zi, 00:00–00:59. The four Yin windows sit on 1, 10, 19 and 25 May. Airports open later. Keep the Gregorian date when the fare is real, and treat the printed jishi as a recorded hour, not a reason to book a 03:00 taxi.
1 May also prints a remaining-matters-aside note on the day page. Treat that morning as a short going-out window. Extra errands belong on another Yi Chuxing date from the same table.
How should you stack tickets against the Auspicious Dates for Travel in May 2027?
Keep this order. Do not reverse it to protect a preferred stem-branch.
- Export the airline or railway seats you can actually pay for in May 2027, including change fees.
- Keep only the seats that land on the thirteen Yi Chuxing days in the table.
- Drop any remaining day whose destination forecast closes the road, the ferry, or the runway.
- Open the surviving English day page and read the clash line for the people named on the ticket.
- Pay. After payment, the almanac hour is commentary, not a reason to void the booking.
If the only remaining fare is 27 May, that fare sits outside this month's travel list. Move to 24 May or 25 May when those cabins still exist. An empty booking screen ends the day. The Auspicious Dates for Travel in May 2027 do not create inventory.
How does Lixia on 6 May sit on the road?
6 May 2027 is both Yi Chuxing and Lixia, the solar start of summer. The almanac still lists going-out. Roads around 1 May, a common Labour Day departure, fill anyway. A household that wants a long weekend and a later long-haul should split the two jobs.
- 1 May: Yi Chuxing on the first Gregorian morning of the month; watch holiday crowding.
- 3 May: Yi Chuxing two days later, still inside the early-May pulse.
- 6 May: Yi Chuxing on Lixia itself; confirm local opening hours before a dawn taxi.
Lixia is a seasonal mark. It does not cancel the clash line or the forecast. After 6 May the next cluster is 10, 11 and 12 May, then 15, 17, 18 and 19 May. Those seven dates sit in the fourth lunar month and are usually easier to book than the Labour Day weekend, provided the fare still exists.
Why is 27 May left off the outbound list?
Xiaoman falls on 21 May 2027 and stays on the list: that day page still prints Yi Chuxing, Gengzi, the 16th of the fourth lunar month, a Horse clash, and a Zi Jinkui first hour. 24 May and 25 May follow it. 27 May does not. The almanac leaves going-out off that morning, so a new departure, a first-day road trip, or a same-day outbound flight should move.
A hotel night already paid on 27 May can stay. Do not start the journey that morning if you are working from this copy. 24 May and 25 May are the last pair of Yi Chuxing days in the month; after the 25th the May list is empty.
Xiaoman grain talk is agricultural. For a city traveler it mainly flags that 21 May is still a travel morning on this page. Check the actual forecast on 21, 24 and 25 May before you assume those days are dry. The Auspicious Dates for Travel in May 2027 stop at the 25th.
Which clash animals should leave the first seat?
The clash column names the animal sign that collides with that day's earthly branch. It is a household filter, not a ban on the destination. If the person holding the passport matches the clash animal, give them a later train, a different day from the thirteen, or a seat that is not the first to leave the house.
Dog appears on 1 and 25 May. Rat appears on 3 and 15 May. Rabbit appears on 6 and 18 May. Rooster appears on 12 and 24 May. Goat, Monkey, Tiger, Dragon and Horse appear once each, on 10, 11, 17, 19 and 21 May. Read the line on the day page rather than memorising this paragraph; the day page is the source if the two ever disagree. Confirm hours and clash notes on the Chinese Calendar day you actually paid for.
Which month list to open if May is the wrong window?
Leave already booked in late April belongs on Auspicious Dates for Travel in April 2027. An earlier 2027 window belongs on Auspicious Dates for Travel in January 2027. Do not paste May's thirteen days onto those months. Keep an April ticket if it is already paid.
The working file for the Auspicious Dates for Travel in May 2027 remains the thirteen Yi Chuxing days in the table, with 27 May held out. Tickets and weather decide which of those thirteen you can actually use. The almanac does not refund a missed connection.
