August 2027 prints 出行 in the 宜 column on twelve mornings, and those are the Auspicious Dates for Travel in August 2027: the 3rd, 4th, 9th, 11th, 13th, 16th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 25th and 31st. The same month keeps 出行 off the travel list on the 2nd, 8th, 10th, 18th, 22nd and 30th; 8 August is 立秋 (Liqiu) and is not for travel. A fare you can sit in, and weather that lets the aircraft leave, sit above the almanac when they disagree.
Which mornings in August 2027 are Yi Chuxing?
宜出行 on these twelve days means 出行 sits inside that day's 宜 column: leaving the house, boarding a train or a plane, starting a road trip. The mark does not score the hotel, and it does not cancel a 冲 against a traveler's animal sign. The first 吉时 is the earliest hour printed on that day's page; later hours remain on the same page if you leave after dawn. The table copies 干支, lunar date, 冲 and the first 吉时 from each day's English almanac page, reached from the Chinese Calendar.
How do the twelve dates sit across the month?
The month hands you clumps, and the clumps are where families usually book the wrong morning. The 3rd and 4th sit back to back. The 2nd before them is already off the travel list, so a trip that starts in early August still has to name the 3rd or the 4th as the boarding morning. After the 4th the list goes quiet until the 9th. People treat 3–9 as one window and let a hotel night pull the departure onto the 8th. The 8th is 立秋 and one of the six non-travel days. If you need those nights, leave on the 4th, or wait for the 9th.
Mid-month repeats the same shape at a tighter spacing. The 11th and the 13th sit with the 12th in the gap; the 10th before them is also off the travel list. Then come the 16th and the 17th. The 18th sits between two Yi Chuxing days and still stays off the list. Booking a 17th outbound and an 18th return, or an 18th outbound because the meeting is on the 19th, mixes the meeting date with the travel date. 宜出行 names the morning you leave the house. The meeting can sit on a day that never claimed 出行.

The densest run is the 19th, 20th and 21st. Three kept mornings in a row still do not absorb the 18th behind them or the 22nd after them. Anyone aiming at that mid-August stretch still has to name the calendar day they board. Sleeping in a hotel on the 22nd does not make the 22nd a Yi Chuxing day; boarding on the 21st or waiting for the 25th does the 出行 work. Late August thins out: the 25th stands alone, then the list is empty until the 31st. The 30th in front of the 31st is not a travel day, so a month-end ticket still has to land on the 31st.
Which dates are not travel days?
These six stay outside the twelve-day list even when a package looks tidier with them in the middle.
If you already hold a non-refundable seat on one of these six, keep the seat. The almanac does not refund a fare, and this list does not ask you to cancel a trip that is already paid. A hotel night already booked on the 8th or the 18th can stay; do not start the journey that morning if you are reading 宜出行.
What does the 冲 column change?
The 冲 column is copied as printed: 冲猴, 冲鸡, 冲虎, 冲龙, 冲马, 冲狗, 冲鼠, 冲牛. Read it against the traveler's animal sign after you already have a date that is 宜出行. It names an animal clash for that solar day; it does not rewrite the twelve-day list. If the only cheap flight is on a Yi Chuxing day that 冲 your sign, you still have a ticket problem, and the 冲 conversation comes after the fare is real.
How should the first 吉时 meet a ticket?
Only the first 吉时 is copied here. Nine of the twelve print 子时 at 00:00–00:59 first — the 3rd, 4th, 9th, 13th, 16th, 19th, 21st, 25th and 31st. Walk a family out at midnight only if the train actually leaves then. The 11th, 17th and 20th print 寅时 at 03:00–04:59 first. Open the day page and take a later 吉时 if you leave at nine in the morning. If the only connection is 07:10, you take 07:10.
- Circle only the twelve Gregorian dates in the table.
- Lay the fare and the forecast on those dates before you open 冲 or 吉时.
- Read 冲 against the people who actually board, after the seat exists.
- Open that day's page for a later 吉时 when the first hour is in the small hours.
When do tickets and weather outrank the almanac?
A Yi Chuxing day with no seats cannot move anyone. Keep the only remaining flight on a listed non-travel morning if that fare is already in your pocket and the weather lets the aircraft leave. Typhoon weeks, heat warnings, and railway construction do not wait for 干支. Check the ticket and the forecast on the same morning you check 宜出行, and let the booking win when the three disagree.
June and July use the same 宜出行 reading if your trip crosses the month line. Start with Auspicious Dates for Travel in July 2027 when the outbound is still in July, and Auspicious Dates for Travel in June 2027 when you are still comparing an earlier window.
This list is a tongshu reading of 出行 in August 2027. Confirm the day's 宜忌 before you pay. Yi Chuxing does not promise clear roads or on-time aircraft, and it does not outrank a ticket you can actually hold. Keep Auspicious Dates for Travel in August 2027 on this month's twelve-day list.
Auspicious Dates for Travel in August 2027 should be checked against the day page, tickets, and building rules before anyone treats the almanac as a booking guarantee.
