Auspicious Dates for Travel in July 2027: Eleven Yi Chuxing Days

July 2027 has eleven days with 出行 on the 宜 list, and those are the Auspicious Dates for Travel in July 2027: the 3rd, 4th, 6th, 10th, 11th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 24th, 27th and 29th. The same month prints 出行 under 忌 on the 5th, 12th, 13th, 16th, 20th, 25th and 28th, so those seven are not travel days in this tongshu. A fare you can actually sit in, and a weather window that lets the plane leave, sit above the almanac when the two disagree. The table copies 干支, lunar date, 冲 and the first 吉时 from each day's page on the Chinese Calendar.

Eleven Yi Chuxing days copied from the July 2027 calendar

宜出行 on these eleven days means 出行 sits inside that day's 宜 column: leaving the house, boarding a train or a plane, starting a road trip. The mark does not score the destination, and it does not cancel a 冲 against a traveler's animal sign. The first 吉时 is the earliest hour printed on that day's page; later hours remain on the same page if you leave in the afternoon.

How the eleven days sit on the month

The month does not hand you a clean travel week. It hands you clumps, and the clumps are where families usually book the wrong morning. The 3rd and 4th sit back to back: 3 July is 癸未, still 五月廿九, and 4 July is 甲申, the first day of the lunar sixth month. The lunar month turns between those two Yi Chuxing days, which matters only as a calendar fact: the 宜出行 mark continues across the turn, so you do not need a new rule on the morning of the 4th. The 5th then drops out of the travel list, and the 6th (丙戌, 六月初三) comes back. People treat 3–6 as one window and let a hotel Saturday pull the departure onto the 5th. The 5th is one of the seven 忌出行 days. If you need those four nights, start on the 3rd and accept that the 5th is not a departure morning, or leave on the 6th and stop asking the 5th to do 出行 work it does not list.

Mid-month repeats the same shape at a wider spacing. 10 July (庚寅, 六月初七) and 11 July (辛卯, 六月初八) are another pair. After that pair you get a four-day stretch that includes the 12th, 13th and 16th, all 忌出行. The next Yi Chuxing days are the 15th, 17th and 19th, with the 16th sitting in the gap. Booking a 15th outbound and a 16th return, or a 16th outbound because the meeting is on the 17th, mixes the meeting date with the travel date. 宜出行 names the morning you leave the house. The meeting can sit on a day that never claimed 出行.

Late July thins out again: the 24th, 27th and 29th, with the 25th and 28th in the 忌 list. Anyone aiming at “the last weekend of July” still has to name the calendar day they board. Sleeping in a hotel on the 25th does not make the 25th a Yi Chuxing day; boarding on the 24th or the 27th does the 出行 work. The 29th (己酉, 六月廿六) is the last of the eleven.

Where the reading usually goes wrong

Families enlarge the list in three directions, and each one breaks the copy. Days that never print 出行 in 宜 and never print it in 忌 are unmarked for travel; this page does not invent a rule for them, and it does not fold them into the eleven. The first 吉时 is also easy to over-read. 子时 at 00:00–00:59 is printed first on the 4th, 10th, 11th, 17th and 29th because that slot is the first auspicious hour on the clock that day, which is a poor reason to walk a family out at midnight. Open the day page and take a later 吉时 if you leave at nine in the morning. 冲 is the third extra filter people apply too early. It names an animal clash for that solar day; it does not rewrite 宜出行. If the only cheap flight is on a Yi Chuxing day that 冲 your sign, you still have a ticket problem, and the 冲 conversation comes after the fare is real.

Seven days that are not travel days

These seven print 出行 under 忌, so they stay outside the eleven-day list even when a package looks tidier with them in the middle.

If you already hold a non-refundable seat on one of these seven, keep the seat. The almanac does not refund a fare, and this list does not ask you to cancel a trip that is already paid.

Clash, hours, and the months on either side

The 冲 column is copied as printed; read it against the traveler's animal sign after you already have a date that is 宜出行, and do not rebuild the eleven-day list from 冲 alone.

Only the first 吉时 is copied here. Several of those first hours are 子时 or 丑时 in the small hours, which is useful if you take a night train and idle if you take a noon flight. The rest of that day's hours live on the day page; the date decision is the work, and the hour is a second pass once the ticket exists.

June and May use the same 宜出行 reading if your trip crosses the month line. Start with Auspicious Dates for Travel in June 2027 when the outbound is still in June, and Auspicious Dates for Travel in May 2027 when you are still comparing an earlier window. For any morning that is not in those three months, open the Chinese Calendar and read that day's 宜忌 directly.

Tickets and weather sit above the almanac

A Yi Chuxing day with no seats is not a travel day you can use. A 忌出行 day with the only remaining flight, in weather that actually lets the aircraft leave, is the day you fly if the fare is already in your pocket. Typhoon weeks, heat warnings, and railway construction do not wait for 干支. Check the ticket and the forecast on the same morning you check 宜出行, and let the booking win when the three disagree.

This list is a tongshu reading of 出行 in July 2027 on this calendar. A day marked 宜出行 here is 宜出行 on these pages. Confirm the day's 宜忌 before you pay, and treat the trip as a trip you planned.

  • Copy only the Gregorian dates printed for Auspicious Dates for Travel in July 2027.
  • Open the matching /en/calendar/ day page for hours.
  • Let tickets and hotels overrule a clash.
  • Do not treat a solar term as a ban on every other errand unless the ji column says so.
  • Do not invent dates outside the Dispatch table.
  • Do not read Auspicious Dates for Travel in July 2027 as a luck guarantee.

Keep Auspicious Dates for Travel in July 2027 on this month's list; do not copy another month's Yi column onto it.
